Aesthetic Sales Field Force
Business Development Executives are part of the Sales Field Force for an Aesthetics Company. The function of the Business Development Executive is to Partner with leading Health Care Practitioners to ensure that the Aesthetics products and services they represent remain the market leader.
The Business Development Executives focus on increasing the professional profile and credibility of the organisation, delivering brand portfolio and selling messages amongst the medical aesthetics practitioners and cosmetic medicine industry.
These roles are fast-paced, and the Business Development Manager/ Executive needs to own them as if they are their own company. They will be planning daily sales activity within a Territory and predefined set of customers, arranging appointments with Health Care Professionals and Cosmetic Clinics. In addition, this role will involve the ability to manipulate and analyse data, manage stock distribution and collaborate internally with the supply chain and operations to ensure that stock ordered is delivered on time.
Business Development Executives are allocated set Territories and work with predefined customers as Account Managers. The position also focuses on developing new business through cold calling, utilising marketing campaigns and business meetings.
Looking after a Territory will require you to drive and be quite strategic with your time management and organisation in planning the location of customers and HCP meetings you're attending daily.
To be successful, you must be tenacious and curious. The Aesthetics Industry is experiencing growth, and you will need to understand your competitor's products and how you differentiate your products in the market. The role has a strategic focus and will involve bi-annual reviews with key customers on areas for development and growth.
The Business Development Executive will be required to attend extensive training to understand how the products they represent work and the facial and body anatomy to communicate effectively with HCPs. You will be the face of the Brand you are representing. Therefore, your professional appearance is well-groomed and polished.
Some organisations are more formal in their corporate attire, and you will need to assess what best suits the company you represent. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first-class, as you will engage with HCPs, Sales Directors, Marketing Directors and Managing Directors.
Business Development Executives are fun, high-energy, driven, and incentivised with impressive commission structures.
Ideally, to secure a role as a Business Development Executive within an Aesthetics Company, they prefer experience in Pharmaceutical Field Sales or Medical Device Sales Representatives.
